Updated July 26, 2024	VISION:  As an organization Parker-Tarrant Home School Sports seeks to raise up the next generation of passionate disciples for Jesus Christ through the venue of competitive team athletics. MISSION:  Parker-Tarrant Home School Sports exists to promote and accomplish sports education for the Texas home school student in a Christian environment.  With a focus primarily in the Parker County and west Tarrant County areas of North Texas, the organization’s objective is to provide a competitive environment for middle school and high school sports competition that is not normally provided by traditional home school organizations or support groups.  PTHSS desires to accomplish this goal in a way that both works alongside the parents and honors Jesus Christ. Boys and Girls Basketball: We had a successful 2023-2024 season and are gearing up for the new 2024-2025 season! The PT Warriors Basketball informational / signup meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, Aug 26th, 6:30 PM at Birchman Baptist Church gym.  Practices start after Labor Day, and games are November through mid-March. Here’s a quick summary of how our teams finished up the 2023-2024 season. Varsity Boys - finished with a 32-10 record.  They won the Texas State Home School tournament, the North Texas Home School District tournament, and the LCCS tournament.  Their record at Nationals was 4-2.  The two losses were by 1 point each!  Most of the players will be returning next season and some strong talent moving up from JV. 16U Boys (JV) – finished with a 24-13 record.  They got stronger as the season went on and finished 5th (Silver Ball Championship) out of 62 teams at Nationals with a 4-1 record. 14U Boys - finished with a 24-13 record and 15th out of 64 teams at Nationals. 12U Boys – finished with a 12-21 record and 30th out of 40 teams at Nationals. 14U Girls – finished with a 27-10 record and 17th out of 64 teams at Nationals where they went 5-1 and won the D2 Gold Ball Championship.  More than half of the players were 12U, so the future looks good! Boys High School Baseball: The season runs from February through April and we are currently in the offseason.  Signups are in early January. Girls Volleyball: After many years of successfully competing at the highest level with some great athletes, coaches, and families, the PT Warriors Board have decided not to field a volleyball program for the near term.  Many of the Warriors athletic activities occur at Birchman Baptist Church in west Fort Worth.
